November has started y’all!!

National Blog Post Month has finally begun, and man, has it started with a bang or what, for me that is! I was all excited about getting a post out there every day through the month but that seems like a challenge I may not be able to overcome, and not for the obvious reasons. I can always find something to say and the time to put it on paper, that isn’t my problem 😋 My problem is that I might have to say good bye to the blogging world for brief period 😳

Unfortunately, some unforeseen hard times have befallen me and I don’t know a way out- hence the silence last couple of days. I’m not at the liberty to disclose the specifics of my personal tragedy currently, but I will eventually. If I end up going on a hiatus, I will share it when I come back and my journey leading up to the come-back. Until then I will try my best to write for as long as I can 🙂

So I send all the best wishes to all my fellow-bloggers! I hope you’re able to complete this challenge and post something new everyday! Once I’m in a better place I’m sure I will have quite the reading material to catch up on 😉

  1. The ‘like’ for this post is more for support and the hope that you don’t have to go on hiatus. In a short time I have come to really enjoy your words. Forthright but with a healthy attitude and sense of humor and honesty. I won’t be doing this challenge but last Christmas I wrote 24 straight blogs leading up to Christmas. It was fun but nerve wracking at times. So I hope all will work out (whatever it is). You can find me on social media of course if you need some blogger support.

    You have been a tremendous source of encouragement and positive force through tough times. What I’m going through right now is simply a culmination of what got me to start this blog. I will keep in touch 🙂

  4. In my brief experience, I’ve realized that this a very supportive community- I’m glad I decided to make my thoughts more public and not keep them inside.
    I’m humbled that I have been a source of encouragement too 🙂

  5. It is a great community, the more you put in, the more you get back. The words we write make us feel like we know each other for years, even though it is only recently that we do I stopped sharing my blogs with my immediate family because though they tell me oh great job I kind of feel my fellow bloggers get the emotions behind my posts.

    1. I can completely relate to that. Of all the people who read my blog or follow it, only two actually know me. Everyone else I have met through my writing and I feel that they probably know the truest me- not the day-to-day superficial me. And that’s because we are all here for the same reason, to express ourselves!

      1. Yes it took me awhile to realize that. I have a FB for my blog (by the same name) and a lot of friends are on it. But they seldom if ever comment. I still keep it going and post my blogs but I realized the best and most useful comments came from people like you 😄

  6. Haha, the name just came to me. I was so looking forward to reaching this milestone and just a month before my birthday it felt like someone pulled the rug from under me- I was suddenly learning so many things it seemed apt.
    You might have given me an idea for tmw’s post- I’m going to write about growing older, I think it’s a great feeling 😄

  8. Hehe, we’ll be blogger friends forever, Temi!!
    I spent all day yday scrambling around and I can see light at the end of the tunnel- so I’m hopeful my problem will soon be behind me, or at least it will reach a point where I can openly talk about it! I’ll keep trying to write until then 🙂 and I’m glad you’re going to give this a try, I’ll look forward to catching up as soon as I have more time!
